Gear4 unveils “Duo”

Gear4 is already well know for it’s range of portable iPod speaker docks and also non-portable products.
The Duo combines both two aspects into one device,thus giving it the name:the Gear4 Duo.The system comprises a stationary 20W sub woofer and a front-mount, detachable unit which houses all 18W of the rest of the speakers. This front piece also houses the iPod dock and has a rechargeable battery allowing it to be moved around away from the base station.

When re-attached to the main unit music playback should continue uninterrupted, unless the improved bass response as the sub woofer kicks in counts as an interruption. The battery is also charged when connected, although it can be powered separately as well for that extra bit of convenience.
